About Us

Believers Discipleship Chapel (Hereinafter referred to as "BDC"), is a Faith-Based Organization (FBO), legally registered under Section 10 of the Societies Act (Cap.108) of 1968 the Laws of Kenya. BDC was founded in 2020 in the height of the COVID 19 pandemic. It was launched on 1st November 2020. BDC was born as an overflow of our online teachings, programs, and mentorship classes. As we began to reach out to the world with messages of hope, faith and love during the pandemic period, the needs of counselling, discipleship and fellowship prompted the vision bearers to start a physical church. BDC provided warmth and fellowship for both our online members and our local community. 

Since its inception, BDC has continued to reach out to more and more people through evangelism, community services, and an expanded online forum. We have also expanded our local network by working with other local churches and ministries that seek to spread the Gospel and love of Christ. We have enjoyed the favor of God both materially and spiritually. People have joined in to support in acquisition of church assets such as chairs, the public address system, keyboards, etc. 

On 7th November 2021, we marked our first anniversary that was attended by members, friends and local pastors. The hall was filled. As we continue to serve God's people, we firmly believe that we have a noble role to play within the community that surrounds us and beyond. BDC is a ministry that serves in the spirit of excellence and integrity. We aspire to treat people with dignity and respect. Compassion and love are our values as we reach out to the community and the world that is full of broken and hurting people. 

In pursuit of its Mission, BDC has a three-pronged approach. It purposes to reach out to as many people as possible through three aspects i.e. the Spiritual, Mental, and Physical. According to BDC, these three aspects are intertwined and lead to a wholistic approach to human development. In doing so, BDC is encouraged to work with various experts in different fields in order to guarantee the envisaged wholistic development of its congregants. We consider that the expertise bestowed upon such people is God- ordained and should be utilized in order to better the lives of other people.

The culture of BDC is deeply rooted in evangelism, discipleship and a commitment to being outward focused. BDC takes very seriously its call to be an influencing force in its community. The church passionately and intentionally seeks creative ways to connect with the unchurched. Addressing needs for justice and compassion is also a front burner issue at BDC. The church strategically partners with many local social agencies, making a difference in the lives of countless people in need. BDC has a passionate heart committed to making significant and eternal difference in the lives of those it touches.
